Shore Hospitality Limited is seeking a Group Accounting Lead to oversee the financial operations of our expanding restaurant group. This hands-on leadership role combines technical accounting, team supervision, and administrative management across multiple brands and locations.

The ideal candidate will lead monthly consolidation, prepare management reports with KPIs, manage intercompany reconciliations, and ensure HKFRS compliance while mentoring junior staff across venues and supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Restaurant group or multi-unit hospitality experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• HKICPA / ACCA qualified or finalist strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly consolidation of financial statements across all group entities.
• Prepare group-level management reports with variance analysis and KPIs.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Review daily revenue reports from all outlets, reconciling POS with general ledger.
• Monitor food & beverage cost percentages and work with operations to improve margins.
• Liaise with external auditors for year-end audit.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure HKFRS compliance.
• Supervise and mentor 1–2 junior accounting staff.
• Train venue managers on basic financial procedures (daily cash handling, inventory counts).
• Track licence renewals (Food Licence, Liquor Licence) and submit applications to FEHD.
• Review monthly payroll calculations and verify attendance records.
• Assist with vendor contract renewals and maintain vendor database.
• Act as key contact for accounting software and POS vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

Lead monthly consolidation of financial statements across all group entities

Prepare group-level management reports with variance analysis and KPIs

Manage intercompany reconciliations

Review daily revenue reports from all outlets, reconciling POS with general ledger

Monitor food & beverage cost percentages and work with operations to improve margins

Compliance & Audit

Ensure timely filing of profits tax, salaries tax, and employer returns (IRD)

Liaise with external auditors for year-end audit

Maintain internal controls and ensure HKFRS compliance

Team Supervision

Supervise and mentor 1–2 junior accounting staff

Train venue managers on basic financial procedures (daily cash handling, inventory counts)

Administrative Duties

Track licence renewals (Food Licence, Liquor Licence) and submit applications to FEHD

Review monthly payroll calculations and verify attendance records

Assist with vendor contract renewals and maintain vendor database

Act as key contact for accounting software and POS vendors

Requirements

Experience
