Job summary

Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) is expanding its secretariat with a role of Marketing and PR Executive. You will support planning and execution of marketing, communications and public relations initiatives across corporate and project levels, reporting to the Marketing & PR Manager.

The role involves creating bilingual content, managing channels, liaising with media, coordinating events and campaigns, and working with vendors to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Language, Sustainability, Business or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in marketing, corporate communications, PR, digital/social media or related fields.
• Strong translation and writing skills.
• Good understanding of social media and digital communications, with ability to develop engaging content for different audiences.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, responsible with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic team player who can work independently when required.
• Willing to work outside normal hours for events/campaigns when needed.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva is an advantage.
• Experience in video production, photography, multimedia or digital content creation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop online and offline marketing collaterals from content development to production.
• Manage online and offline marketing channels including corporate publications, the website, social media, and newsletters.
• Prepare bilingual editorial and promotional content (press releases, speeches, posts, presentations).
• Copywriting, editing and Chinese-English translation duties.
• Execute corporate, industry and public engagement events (conferences, awards, press events, exhibitions).
• Liaise with media, handle media enquiries and support publicity activities.
• Coordinate with PR/event agencies, designers, vendors, monitor budgets and schedules.
• Support marketing initiatives including campaigns and partnerships with stakeholders.
• Build relationships with media, industry partners, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Support the team in other marketing and communications activities as required.
