Job summary

Referment is recruiting a Marketing and Communications Manager for its Greater China business on a six-month fixed-term contract. The role sits within the Asia marketing and communications team and supports activity across Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan and mainland China, with additional coordination for the wider region.

You will deliver client events, produce marketing materials, manage social media, and coordinate with PR, translating between English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in marketing and communications, ideally within financial services, luxury or hospitality.
• Experience delivering client events and campaigns in Greater China.
• Experience managing external agencies and QC their output.
• Strong editorial judgement in Chinese and English; familiarity with WeChat and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver client events and sponsorship activations across Greater China, including venue/vendor management and on-site delivery.
• Own production of on-brand marketing materials and translations (Traditional and Simplified Chinese).
• Manage Greater China social media calendar and approve WeChat content; draft English-language content for senior management's LinkedIn presence.
• Support external communications with PR agency; edit press releases and assist with on-site support for press conferences.
• Draft and distribute regional internal communications and intranet content; assist with budget tracking and vendor administration.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and banking/financial-industry rules.
