Job summary

HSBC is launching a Relationship Management - Private Bank graduate program in Central, Hong Kong Island. The 18-month start date is July 2027, offering rotations, structured training, and professional qualifications.

Successful candidates will work with private banking clients across teams, developing financial knowledge and relationship skills in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required, Mandarin/Cantonese knowledge is a plus, and visa sponsorship is possible.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in English, knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an advantage.
• Be available to work full time from July 2027 onwards.
• Have obtained or expect to achieve a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
• Have already graduated or will have completed studies before the programme start date.
• We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, and Credit Advisers.
• Build knowledge of asset classes, financial products, and credit offerings.
• Understand lending, credit solutions, advisory products, and loan structuring.
• Manage and review client portfolios.
• Develop your skills to prospect, manage, and report on both new and existing clients.
• Use Excel to create and interpret client and portfolio reports.
• Begin to run client meetings on your own with confidence.
• Strengthen your ability to engage with people at all levels, from colleagues to senior stakeholders.
