Eclipse Trading in Hong Kong is seeking a Graduate to join the Low Latency C++ Software Development team. You will participate in an 8-week training program and work under an experienced mentor on real production systems.

The role centers on building high-performance Linux software for electronic trading, collaborating with Trading & Quant teams, and providing Tier 3 support. A solid computer science foundation and strong C++ skills are required, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with at least one server-side language (e.g., C++, C, C#, Java) and solid CS fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and architecture.
• Familiarity with or strong interest in Linux/Unix systems.
• Interest in financial markets and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop low latency software for electronic trading on Linux
• Participate in code testing and reviews
• Collaborate with Trading & Quant teams to gather system requirements when necessary
• Provide Tier 3 application support
