Job summary

Eclipse Trading in Hong Kong is seeking a Graduate Low Latency C++ Software Developer for the 2027 intake. You will join the Low Latency team developing and optimizing components for electronic trading on Linux, under mentorship during an 8-week training program.

The role emphasizes solving complex technical problems, collaborating with Trading and Quant teams, and providing Tier 3 support in a fast-paced, global market environment. Fluent English and strong CS fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a CS degree.
• Experience with at least one server-side language (C++, C, C#, Java).
• Strong networking fundamentals, protocols, and architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Interest in financial markets; prior industry knowledge not required.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop low latency software for electronic trading on Linux.
