Job summary

Arup in Hong Kong is seeking a Graduate Facade Designer/Engineer to join our Building Envelope & Materials team. The role focuses on designing innovative, high-performance façade and building envelope solutions while supporting analyses and technical deliverables.

You will collaborate across architectural, structural, and services teams, participate in tests, inspections, and site assessments, and develop expertise in façade materials and systems as you grow your project management and

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's level degree in Architectural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering.
Graduated recently, or be on track to complete your most recent relevant degree before employment start date.
An interest in or experience related to Engineering analysis.
Fluent in English and Cantonese.
No more than 2 years of full-time experience in a comparable role
Full working rights in the country of application

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable, and high-performance façade and building envelope solutions.
Support engineering analyses and prepare technical deliverables throughout design and construction stages.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate façade design with architectural, structural, and building services requirements.
Assist in façade testing, inspections, and quality assurance activities, including mock-ups, factory visits, and site assessments.
Develop technical knowledge of façade materials, systems, and performance, while building strong project management and communication skills.
