Job summary

Pragmatike is hiring a Server Engineer for its Hong Kong on-site operations on the factory floor and in the lab. You will test and validate GPU/HPC servers, work across firmware and Linux environments, and own quality from bring-up through final validation, coordinating with manufacturing partners in English and Mandarin.

Candidate should have hands-on server testing experience, strong Linux skills, and familiarity with the NVIDIA stack. On-site presence in Hong Kong is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GPU/HPC server testing and validation.
• Strong Linux skills at system and hardware level.
• Firmware knowledge: BIOS/UEFI, BMC/IPMI, GPU firmware.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA stack: drivers, CUDA, NCCL; benchmarking multi-GPU systems.
• Solid understanding of server hardware: motherboards, PCIe, power, cooling, storage and networking.

Responsibilities

• Own quality control across the client’s manufacturing sites.
• Run the hardware test lab: bring-up, validation and stress testing of new server builds.
• Oversee assembly and end-to-end testing of GPU servers before deployment.
• Define and maintain test procedures, acceptance criteria and QC checkpoints.
