Job summary

PERSOL is seeking candidates to join a Government Department in Hong Kong to lead system implementation and provide ongoing support for existing systems. You will work with users to define functional requirements and coordinate testing activities.

The role requires hands-on Java development experience (Struts) and strong English communication. You will liaise with vendors for outsourced development, diagnose incidents, and design programs for new applications.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification work experience.
• Solid experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)).
• Good command in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• To coordinate with users in defining the function requirements and conducting unit testing, integration testing, UAT testing
• Coordinate with vendors for outsourced development of new application systems
• To provide application support for various computer systems including the data warehouse system
• To perform trouble shooting, rectifying and resolving programming problems when incidents occurred
• Design and develop programs for new application systems
• To perform any other work assigned by supervisor
