Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking a core member of its Global Private Wealth team in Hong Kong to contribute to fundraising efforts across Hong Kong and Greater China. The role emphasizes entrepreneurship, client-facing activities, and building a strong distribution network to achieve fundraising goals.

The ideal candidate brings experience in private markets fundraising, strong presentation and networking skills, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Experience fundraising for private markets and private wealth
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with client-facing exposure
• Fast-paced environment with multi-tasking ability
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (spoken and written)
• Willingness to pursue CFA/CAIA or similar
• Bachelor degree or equivalent; CFA/CAIA considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising cycle: client meetings, roadshows, launch events, and pipeline management
• Prepare presentation materials, follow-up communications, and meeting summaries
• Serve as first line of response for investor queries and DD requests
• Develop relationships with key distributors and broaden partnerships
• Conduct local market research and competitive analysis to identify priorities
• Ensure fundraising pipelines and internal communications are well-maintained
• Contribute to product development initiatives and entrepreneurial growth
