Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a senior product manager to lead multi-market online payments initiatives, including research, requirement analysis, and end-to-end execution across Singapore, Japan, Australia, and HK. You will shape product strategy for checkout, payments APIs/SDKs, and merchant integrations to maximize conversion.

The role demands strong collaboration with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and regional teams, a data-driven mindset, and a track record of launching payment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the digital payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
• Proven track record of launching a payment product from 0 to 1, with checkout or unified gateway experience preferred.
• Strong abilities in business logic abstraction and domain modeling, with knowledge of card scheme rules and 3DS flows.
• Data-driven with metrics like success rates, conversion, and ROI balancing commercial goals with strategic vision.
• Excellent communication and cross-team orchestration; thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Technical aptitude to communicate with engineering teams and manage complex delivery projects.
• Professional fluency in English; cross-regional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead market research, requirement analysis, product planning, and end-to-end execution for online payments across multiple markets.
• Own checkout design, including Hosted & Integrated options, APIs/SDKs, and e-commerce plugins to reduce integration friction.
• Drive integration and productization of global and local payment methods within a Unified Payment Gateway.
• Boost authorization rates by designing Smart Routing, Auto Retries, 3DS, and fraud mitigation with data-driven monitoring.
• Build lifecycle capabilities for Recurring Billing/Subscriptions, Tokenization, Refunds, and Chargeback management.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Regional BD for global rollout.
• Maintain compliance with PCI DSS, SCA, and card scheme updates across target markets.
