Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analyst within Group Technology to enable an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure. You will collaborate with business partners to capture requirements and translate them into BRD/FRS, user stories, and process maps.

You will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, support solution design with architects and QA, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver measurable value and smooth releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
• Domain knowledge in Banking/Finance is a plus.
• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder discussions to understand business processes and pain points.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Support solution design by working closely with architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.).
• Create and maintain BRD, FRS, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and Process maps (As-Is and To-Be).
• Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable value.
• Support change management and release activities, including documentation and communication.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
