Company Description

GTI is an international organization for industry cooperation kicked off in 2011 by China Mobile, SoftBank, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, Sprint (now T-Mobile US) and other operators. It has since expanded to gather over 450 operators and partner members worldwide, covering 66 countries and regions across six continents. During the 1.0 phase (2011-2015), GTI successfully promoted the widespread global application and deployment of TD-LTE. In the 2.0 phase (2016-2022), GTI achieved success in accelerating the end-to-end industrial maturity of mid-band 5G and driving cross-industry integration and innovation. In 2023, GTI entered the new 3.0 phase, its connotation has evolved from the initial Global TD-LTE Initiative to Global Technology Association of InfoComm. Centered around three core pillars—global technological cooperation, industrial collaboration, and think-tank cooperation, GTI continues to unite global innovation forces in the field of information and communications, deepen global cooperation and advance the integrated innovation of 5G-A/6G and AI, empowering digital-intelligent industrial advancement and co-creating new value through digital integration.

Role Description

We are conducting a talent search for a dynamic, globally-oriented industry professional to join GTI in a key cross-functional role. This high-visibility position spans senior-level external representation, industry stakeholder engagement, ecosystem expansion and programme delivery for our global community.

In this role, you will engage with a broad spectrum of industry participants across the Mobile AI ecosystem. Your work will encompass shaping high-level industry dialogue, supporting flagship industry events, cultivating new members and strategic partners, advancing technical and ecosystem initiatives, and acting as a representative voice for GTI in relevant global forums. Depending on your background and expertise, your focus and level of responsibility will be tailored accordingly.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates bring substantial industry grounding within Mobile AI, alongside strong cross-cultural awareness and the ability to work with multi-party international stakeholders.

Desired qualifications may include:

• Established industry credibility and extensive global professional networks
• Leadership experience within large international organisations
• Confident public speaking, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Hands-on experience supporting or steering high-level meetings and large-scale industry events
• Experience in partner and member development, industry event delivery or technical-standard-related initiatives
• Understanding of international protocol and diverse cross‑cultural dynamics
• English as primary working language (written and verbal)
