Job summary

The Egg in Hong Kong seeks a standalone HR Manager to own and shape the HR strategy across jurisdictions. You will implement HR operations, lead learning & development, and drive recruitment while partnering with external providers as needed.

You will manage payroll, benefits, and compliance for multiple locations, ensuring a cohesive culture and strong employer branding within a dynamic digital agency setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, standalone/generalist role.
• Experience coordinating with international teams across time zones.
• Hands-on HR knowledge: L&D, recruitment, ER and performance management.
• Knowledge of local labour laws across jurisdictions; China a plus.
• Marketing/tech agency experience preferred.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin); other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day HR operations across jurisdictions.
• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
• Develop and maintain HR policies aligning global standards with local regulations.
• Lead learning and development initiatives and talent development plans.
