Job summary

Value Partners Ltd. is seeking a dedicated investment professional to support venture capital and private equity investments in healthcare, biotech and life sciences across Greater China and global markets.

The role spans the investment cycle, combining scientific and technology assessment with commercial, financial and go-to-market judgement. Responsibilities include sourcing opportunities in China and internationally, conducting due diligence with emphasis on AI-enabled evaluation, building

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Life Sciences or related field with strong quantitative skills.
Experience in cross-border biotech or life science business development.
Experience using AI/ML in due diligence and investment evaluation.
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

Research biotech, life sciences, medical technology and digital health; source investment opportunities in China and internationally.
Conduct technical, commercial and financial due diligence, using AI/ML expertise to assess technology, business models, unit economics, risks and growth drivers.
Build relationships with entrepreneurs, biotech companies, academic experts, industry associations, corporate partners and government bodies; support fundraising and LP relations.
Support transaction execution, including term-sheet negotiations, documentation and internal processes.
Monitor portfolio companies' operating milestones, financial performance and R&D progress; prepare regular portfolio reports.
