Job summary

Gateway Search Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Financial Controller to own group-level accounting, consolidation and financial control across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You will lead month-end close within a 5-day window, design accounting policies, oversee external audits, and drive ERP implementation from COA design to data migration, partnering with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Own the group consolidation and month-end close processes.
• Lead external audit processes and remediate findings.
• Drive accounting policy design across entities and jurisdictions.
• Oversee ERP selection and implementation including chart of accounts design and data migration.
• Experience with multi-currency consolidation and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Group consolidation process and month-end close, aiming for a 5-working-day close.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies with consistent application across entities and jurisdictions.
• Lead external audit processes and oversee remediation of findings.
• Coordinate statutory reporting across jurisdictions and manage relationships with local accounting firms.
• Design, implement and document robust financial controls and processes.
• Act as the finance business owner for ERP implementation, including COA design, data migration, configuration and parallel run decisions.
• Partner with senior management to improve reporting quality, processes and governance.
• Identify risks and proactively implement solutions.
