Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited seeks a skilled investment operations professional to manage day-to-day activities for a large long-term capital and fixed income portfolio. You will monitor markets, assess external fund managers, and prepare leadership dashboards to guide investment decisions.

The role requires 5–7 years in financial markets, strong fixed income knowledge, and programming ability (Python/SQL). Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial markets
• Strong understanding of capital markets, fixed income instruments and derivatives
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; programming experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations and execution for long-term capital and global fixed income portfolio.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of capital markets, macroeconomic developments and portfolio performance.
• Evaluate, select and monitor external fund managers, assessing operational risks and performance metrics.
• Prepare regular management reports, performance reviews and analytical dashboards for senior leadership.
• Execute due diligence processes to analyze and recommend new investment opportunities.
• Utilize quantitative tools and programming skills to support manager research and portfolio analytics.
• Maintain investment databases and participate in projects to upgrade internal data infrastructure.
• Support ESG integration and engagement policies across the fixed income portfolio.
