Job summary

Bah Partners in Hong Kong seeks a Reliability Engineer to own production trading infrastructure across global markets. You will work with traders, exchanges and engineers to ensure high availability and low latency.

This hands-on role focuses on Linux, market data, OMS, and automation, using Python and other scripting to build self-healing systems and reduce manual intervention. Strong collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience within financial markets.
Strong Python scripting/automation.
Excellent Linux knowledge beyond administration.
Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, multicast).
Experience with SQL and MongoDB.
Strong troubleshooting skills under time pressure.
Excellent communication with technical teams and front-office users.

Responsibilities

Manage production Order Management Systems and Market Data Delivery Systems.
Collaborate with trading teams, risk, business management and compliance to implement production solutions.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide L1/L2 support for trading systems.
Use Python and scripting to improve reliability and automation.
Monitor health and performance of production environments and identify potential problems.
Work with Core Engineering on architecture and development of production and support infrastructure.
Act as primary technical contact for exchanges and brokers.
Participate in after-hours coverage for critical production systems.
