Job summary

Sands China is seeking an experienced architect/designer to lead business and information architecture initiatives for diverse environments, including hotels, casinos and convention spaces. The role requires directing external design firms, overseeing costs and schedules, and liaising with Macau management and local teams to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a related architectural/design area.
• Demonstrated creativity and imagination in design thinking.
• Ability to visualize concepts and articulate them to stakeholders.
• Strong eye for design, color, and 3D awareness.
• Proven leadership with the ability to advocate ideas and drive outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong financial acumen and bottom-line focus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Define and design business and information architecture.
• Oversee architectural design responsibilities and manage design firms.
• Assist in RFP preparation and contract reviews with consultants.
• Facilitate communication between design, construction, operations, and vendors.
• Collaborate with executive management on environment layouts and furnishings.
• Support construction delivery with design-quality deliverables.
• Liaise with Macau operations and local teams to design and deliver projects.
• Ensure timely execution of design projects and interim deliverables.
• Plan and deliver diverse environments including hotel rooms, retail, casinos, F&B, and convention space.
• Manage cross-cultural, international projects and regional design standards.
• Provide mentoring, leadership and technical direction to product development team.
