Job summary

Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, seeks a regulatory attorney to lead global product launch compliance. You will conduct cross-jurisdictional analyses, develop compliance playbooks, and advise product, tech, and business teams on regulatory requirements and risk. The role requires in-depth crypto regulatory experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Law degree and eligibility to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• 3–6 years in regulatory, financial services, or technology law with crypto exposure.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency product structures and regulatory treatment across jurisdictions.
• Ability to conduct multi-jurisdictional regulatory analysis and present actionable findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regulatory advisor for global product launches and initiatives.
• Conduct regulatory gap analyses for target jurisdictions and licensing needs.
• Develop and maintain product compliance frameworks, playbooks, and decision matrices.
• Advise Product, Tech, Business and Fiat teams on regulatory constraints and risk mitigation.
• Assess regulatory classification of products across jurisdictions and monitor developments.
• Coordinate with Licensing Counsel and external advisors to align launches with licensing timelines.
• Support internal approval processes for new product rollouts.
• Prepare regulatory risk assessments and internal memos for senior leadership.
