Job summary

You will build financial models and present findings to clients. Requirements include a STEM or finance degree, strong quantitative and communication skills, and proficiency in Japanese is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline; graduate degree preferred; CFA is a plus.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity with the ability to think creatively in Corporate Finance Advisory.

Responsibilities

• Producing quantitative and qualitative analysis to make broader financing and capital structure recommendations.
• Assessing financial implications of a wide range of transactions and capital structures.
• Participating in complex deal structuring for both M&A and capital raising transactions.
• Conducting industry and product research, including content on trending topics.
• Performing financial analysis using industry-standard and proprietary models.
• Building financial models addressing capital structure, credit ratings, and financing solutions.
• Interacting with clients, products, and services in JP Morgan’s ecosystem.
• Preparing presentation materials and participating in deal pitches.
• Executing client transactions from inception to closing.
