Job summary

LeafIoT Technology Limited 樹聯綠碳科技有限公司 seeks a Geospatial Research Analyst to join our applied research and technology team. You will bridge spatial data science, urban forestry management, and climate-resilient urban design, analyzing sensor data, LiDAR, satellite imagery, and spatial topologies to evaluate canopy health and inform spatial strategies for international smart green city projects.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with significant research experience in Geomatics, GIS, Urban Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Remote Sensing.
Advanced proficiency in GIS ecosystems and spatial programming.
Experience processing remote sensing imagery (Sentinel, Landsat, Planet) or cloud-based spatial engines (Google Earth Engine).
Understanding of urban ecosystem services and urban spatial analytics.

Responsibilities

Conduct spatial modeling of urban canopy, biomass, and microclimate mitigation strategies.
Fuse IoT sensor data, satellite imagery, LiDAR into coherent spatial models.
Collaborate with urban designers to translate geospatial insights into master-planning parameters.
Author research papers, briefs, and deliverables outlining methodologies and outcomes.
Coordinate with international partners and oversee site deployments.
