Job summary

RGH-Global Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a GEO-approved Geologist with 5–8 years of post-graduate experience in geotechnical engineering and site supervision. The role focuses on logging, assessment, and compliance with GEO and Buildings Department regulations on major projects.

Candidates must be GEO-approved, fluent in English and Cantonese, and hold a geology degree with chartership preferred. This is a senior technical on-site position offering leadership in critical ground investigations

Qualifications

• Must be a GEO-approved / registered Geologist.
• 5 to 8 years of post-graduate geological and geotechnical engineering experience in HK construction.
• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related geotechnical discipline.
• Professional chartership (e.g., CGeol, HKIE) strongly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese with strong report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Core logging of rock and soil cores.
• Site assessment of geological, structural, and hydrogeological conditions for major infrastructure.
• Support for diaphragm walls and deep excavation projects.
• Site supervision and technical compliance with GEO and Buildings Department regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, independent checking engineers, and government departments for statutory submissions.
