Job summary

RGH-Global Limited is seeking a GEO-approved Geologist in Hong Kong with 5–8 years of post-graduate experience in ground engineering and site supervision. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on major infrastructure and deep excavation projects.

core logging of rock/soil cores, site assessments, and support for diaphragm walling and trenchless drilling will be part of your responsibilities, coordinating with clients and authorities to ensure GEO compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years post-graduate geological/geotechnical experience in HK construction.
• Must be GEO-approved/registered geologist for site supervision.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; strong technical report-writing skills.
• Degree in Geology or related geotechnical discipline; chartership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Core logging: Inspect and log rock and soil cores from deep and HDC works.
• Site assessment: Evaluate geological, structural, and hydrogeological conditions for major infrastructure.
• Project support: Assist with ground engineering works, diaphragm walling, and trenchless drilling operations.
• Site supervision & technical compliance: Act as GEO-approved geologist on-site, oversee investigations and instrumentation per GEO and Buildings Department regs.
• Stakeholder coordination: Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities on submissions and geotechnical compliance.
