TASCHEN in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic luxury retail sales professional to drive the sale of the TASCHEN program in a premium store environment.

You will leverage a passion for art and design to engage discerning international clients, delivering tailored recommendations and maintaining impeccable product presentation. Strong Cantonese and English communication is essential, as is a proactive, results-oriented approach with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Art or luxury retail experience preferred.
• Commercially minded, results-oriented and enthusiastic about sales.
• Experience building relationships with international collectors and high-net-worth clients.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and motivated to exceed targets.
• Excellent Cantonese and English communication; strong MS Office skills.

• Sell TASCHEN products with prior sales experience in art or gallery settings.
• Promote the TASCHEN brand and help grow its network of clients.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and tailor recommendations to client interests.
• Present and maintain product ranges to TASCHEN's premium standards.
• Assist with daily store operations, reporting and administrative tasks.
• Support inventory management including ordering, receiving, storing and dispatching merchandise.

Your tasks

• You will bring your previous sales experience, preferably in an art or gallery environment, to the sale of the TASCHEN program.
• With your drive for sales and advising, you will promote the brand and contribute to the development of its network and sales.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and make informed recommendations based on each client's interests and requirements.
• Ensure the product range is presented and maintained to TASCHEN's premium visual and service standards.
• Assist with daily store operations, reporting and other administrative tasks.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, checking, storing and dispatching merchandise.

Your profile

• Passionate about art, photography, architecture, design, fashion and luxury publishing.
• Commercially minded, confident and results-oriented, with a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
• Experienced in building relationships with discerning international collectors and high-net-worth clientele.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and motivated to exceed sales targets.
• Your profile is rounded off by excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English in addition to strong MS Office skills.
• Social skills, flexibility, together with a collaborative and customer-oriented approach, support you in achieving personal and team sales goals.
• Impeccably presented with excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience in luxury retail, galleries, auction houses, publishing or premium customer service is highly desirable.
