Job summary

Unicorn Advisor (HK) Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced investment professional to lead fund sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management with hedge funds, GP relations, and PE managers. The role focuses on securing scarce allocations, end-to-end onboarding, and ongoing advisory to drive AUM growth.

You will negotiate commercial terms, conduct due diligence, and support RMs with deep-dive insights on hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years in private banking, FoF, hedged funds, or top-tier wealth platforms.
• Direct experience in fund sourcing, GP relations, or alternative investment product sales.
• Strong knowledge of hedge fund strategies and PE fund structures.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Source and establish direct relationships with hedge funds and PE managers.
• Secure scarce subscription allocations and onboarding quotas.
• Lead end-to-end fund onboarding, including terms negotiation and due diligence.
• Provide technical advisory on hedge fund strategies and portfolio construction.
• Oversee fund lifecycle: processing, liquidity monitoring, performance attribution, due diligence reviews.
• Define requirements and perform UAT for fund platforms and workflows.
