Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Operations Associate for a boutique hedge fund in Hong Kong. You will support NAV reconciliation, cash movements, trade settlements, and risk metrics, ensuring accurate daily reporting.

You will collaborate with investment teams and external service providers on compliance, investor onboarding, and ad hoc initiatives, with Mandarin fluency essential for counterparties and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin fluency essential).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment under pressure while maintaining team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile fund NAV calculations on a daily basis.
• Manage daily cash movements and trade settlements with accurate tracking and timely reconciliation of any breaks.
• Calculate, monitor, and maintain daily fund risk metrics to ensure portfolio compliance.
• Support fund compliance and risk management activities through ongoing monitoring and internal reporting.
• Administer and monitor fund side pockets and post-investment follow-up activities for private-market investments.
• Prepare risk reports, monthly investor newsletters, and ad hoc reports as requested.
• Coordinate with the Investor Relations team on investor onboarding activities, including KYC/AML reviews and documentation execution.
• Liaise with investment teams, fund administrators, brokers, and service providers to ensure smooth fund operations.
• Support senior management on special projects and ad hoc initiatives.
