Job summary

Selby Jennings is partnering with a growing investment platform to appoint a Senior Private Equity Fund Administration Officer to support the administration and operations of private equity funds. This role offers exposure across fund accounting, investor servicing, financial reporting, and fund operations within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include managing the private equity fund lifecycle, maintaining fund accounting records, and coordinating with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience within private equity fund administration, fund accounting, or private equity audit.
• Strong understanding of private equity structures, LPAs, capital call processes, fund expenses, and carried interest calculations.
• Experience with fund administration platforms such as Investran, eFront, Allvue, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end private equity fund lifecycle, including capital calls, distributions, equalizations, and investor transactions
• Maintain accurate fund accounting records, capital commitments, carried interest calculations, and waterfall allocations
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and capital account statements
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee annual audit processes to ensure timely completion
• Support investor onboarding activities and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a key liaison for investors, auditors, custodians, and other external stakeholders
• Review and oversee the work of junior team members while providing mentorship and technical guidance
