Job summary

ALPS Capital Management Limited is recruiting a Fund Accounting Associate to support fund operations and deliver accurate administration services. The role liaises with clients, fund managers, and internal teams to ensure timely NAV calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in fund administration, strong accounting knowledge, and solid communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment. CPA/ACCA/CFA qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in fund administration or fund accounting.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and financial instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
• Process fund transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, and transfers.
• Prepare and review financial statements, regulatory filings, and other fund-related reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve accounting and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist with audits and provide support for ad hoc projects as needed.
