Job summary

Green Lake Executive Search Co. Limited is seeking a Fund Accountant to support fund accounting, SPV management, and carry-related activities across multiple entities in Hong Kong. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of fund accounting experience, familiarity with Cayman Islands and Hong Kong compliance filings, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and fluency in Chinese and English. CPA/ACCA/CA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity/venture capital, fund administration or related.
• Familiarity with fund structures, sub-funds and SPVs; understanding of Annual Return and compliance filings (Cayman Islands & Hong Kong).
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or Business; CPA/ACCA/CA preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; Mandarin a bonus.
• Proficient in Excel and fund accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Fund accounting and reporting: NAV, capital accounts, management fees, performance fees, financial statements, LP reporting, capital calls and distributions, audit coordination.
• Sub-fund and SPV management: annual returns, filings, company secretarial coordination, compliance calendar maintenance.
• Carry support: carry calculations, accruals, allocations, vesting, waterfall, internal recordkeeping.
• Transaction support: SPV establishment, bank account openings, KYC/AML, valuation inputs, cross-entity reconciliations.

Job description

The client's existing fund accounting team is urgently hiring a Fund Accountant to assist with accounting, compliance filings and team carry-related matters across the fund, sub-funds and a large number of SPVs.

Key responsibilities

Fund Accounting and Reporting: NAV, capital accounts, management fees, performance fees, monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, LP reporting, capital calls and distributions, and audit and tax coordination

Sub-Fund and SPV Management: Annual Returns, annual filings, registration updates, company secretarial coordination, and compliance calendar maintenance

Team Carry Support: Carry calculations, accruals, allocations, vesting, waterfall and internal recordkeeping

Transaction and Operations Support: SPV establishment, bank account opening, KYC/AML, valuation inputs and cross-entity reconciliations

About you

5 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity/venture capital, fund administration or related

Familiarity with fund structures, sub-funds and SPVs, and an understanding of Annual Return and compliance filing requirements in the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or Business

CPA, ACCA or CA preferred
