Job summary

Bright English Education Centre (South Horizons) is seeking a dedicated Full-Time English & Phonics teacher to help young learners build strong English foundations. The role involves teaching English and Phonics to K1–P6 students in a supportive classroom, with 5-day work weeks, performance bonuses, and comprehensive in-house training as part of the company's expanding network in HK and Macau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or related field.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or PGDE is preferred.
• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/DELTA qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and Phonics to Kindergarten and Primary students in small classes
• Support daily operations of the centre
• Prepare lessons and teaching materials
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents
• Communicate with parents on student progress
• Research HK English curricula for relevant levels
• Prepare materials for primary and secondary level courses
• Assist with administrative tasks when needed

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Centre Manager / District Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Teach English and Phonics to Kindergarten and Primary students in small-class settings
• Support the daily operations of the education centre
• Prepare lessons and teaching materials
• Monitor students’ learning progress and performance
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress
• Research Hong Kong primary and secondary school English curricula
• Prepare teaching materials for primary and secondary level courses
• Collect feedback and conduct basic analysis
• Assist with administrative work when required

Job Requirments

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma in Early Childhood Education, PGDE, or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are welcome; full training will be provided
• DELTA / CELTA / TESOL / TEFL qualifications will be an advantage
• Fluency in ENGLISH AND CANTONESE, with strong written skills in both English and Chinese
• Passionate, energetic, and committed to teaching children
• Responsible, independent, hardworking, and positive
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Calendar, and Zoom
• Able to work on Saturdays and/ or Sundays
