Job summary

THRIVE Education International (HK) Limited seeks an energetic English teacher to develop and deliver engaging language lessons for young children aged 2 to 7. You will integrate simple STEAM activities and provide regular parent updates, ensuring a rich, hands-on learning experience.

The role requires a native English speaker with clear pronunciation. A university degree and 1 year of early years teaching experience are preferred, with PGDE highly regarded.

THRIVE 1+ Logical Thinking Interactive Learning Centre is dedicated to nurturing

the intuitive, concrete, and abstract logical thinking skills of children aged 2 to 7.

Leveraging German HABA board games as a medium, we emphasis learning through

play and the value of hands-on experiences. Through engaging team games, we aim to

develop children's observational skills, concentration, memory, critical thinking,

teamwork, and resilience.

Job logistics

Key Responsibilities

Write comprehensive, highly accurate student feedback reports and provide regular updates to parents

Manage classroom dynamics effectively to keep young learners focused and motivated

Adapt provided materials and structure high-impact activities tailored to young learners

Work alongside centre administrators to optimize student retention and learning experiences

Able to integrate English learning into STEAM activities, design and lead age- appropriate STEAM activities (simple science experiments, basic coding, hands-on projects, etc.)

Able to design and lead interactive English expression activities (show and tell, storytelling, role-play, etc.)

Requirements & Qualifications

• Native English Speaker (required).
• Clear pronunciation and natural expression; able to create a full English-speaking environment

Education:

University degree holder. PGDE (or current PGDE students) highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or at the Kindergarten or Primary school level.
