Job summary

Orion Robotics Limited seeks a Full-Stack Robotics Platform Engineer to lead core architecture for a smart inspection robot platform across PC, mobile, and web. You will build robust backend services, implement device connectivity with MQTT, and enable real-time data analytics and visualization.

The role demands front-end expertise (React/Vue) and experience with video streaming and digital twins. Collaboration with HKUST/CityU-backed teams and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of full-stack or backend development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend framework (Spring Boot, Node.js, etc.) and experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and MQTT protocols.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React / Vue) and ability to take projects from UI design to full execution independently.
• Knowledge of video streaming protocols (WebRTC, RTSP, RTMP) and real-time video feed platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the core architecture of the smart inspection robot platform across PC, Mobile, and Web.
• Build robust backend services and integrate device connectivity and real-time alarm engines.
• Manage real-time data ingestion, storage, analytics, and visualization for multi-dimensional inspection data.
• Develop intuitive UIs supporting inspection, 3D digital twin monitoring, and automated report generation.
• Implement multi-tenant permission controls, remote maintenance, and teleoperation features.
• Write deployment docs (Docker) and assist with on-site deployment and user training.
