Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain digital platforms, delivering frontend and backend features for distribution platforms. You will work in an Agile environment, strive for scalable, compliant applications, and contribute to architectural design and AI-enabled automation initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of software development experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong communication in English,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Approximately 3+ years of software development experience.
Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Experience in frontend development with React Native, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
Backend development with Go and/or Java Spring Boot.
Database knowledge of MSSQL and MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools, especially Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
Hands-on with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Eclipse.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain digital platforms in line with branding and quality standards.
Design, build, and enhance frontend and backend features for distribution platforms.
Deliver responsive and scalable applications within an Agile environment.
Ensure compliance with web standards, usability guidelines, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvements by introducing new technologies and tools.
Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend solutions.
Work with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders across the SDLC.
Contribute to application design, system architecture, and technical delivery.
Support AI adoption and automation initiatives across development processes.
