Job summary

Haitong International Management Services Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to oversee portfolio strategy, construction, and trading to deliver alpha.

You will conduct research on non-China Asia/global bond markets, manage FX, rate, and credit risks, monitor P&L and attribution, and identify opportunities for profitable trades.

Qualifications

• 10 years of fixed income investment experience
• At least 5 years in public fund management
• Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline; CFA/FRM advantageous
• Excellent writing in English and Chinese including Mandarin
• SFC Type 1, 4, 9 experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Fixed income portfolio management experience or/and trading; formulate investment strategy
• Conduct investment research for non-China Asia/Global bond investments including investment grade and high yield
• Manage portfolio market risks including FX, interest rate and credit risk exposure

Conduct investment research for non-China Asia/Global market bond investments including both investment grade and high yield credits;

Manage portfolio market risks include FX, interest rate and credit risk exposure;

Responsible for P&L monitoring, performance attribution, and scenario analysis of portfolio holding;

Identify market opportunities and implement effective trades to derive profits for the firm.

Requirements

10 years relevant working experience in Fixed Income investment and above 5 years experience in public fund management;

Bachelor degree in Business or a related discipline, professional qualifications of CFA, FRM, etc. is an advantage;

Excellent writing skill in English and Chinese including Mandarin;

Previous experience in SFC Type 1,4,9 is preferred;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
