Job summary

Ocean Park Hong Kong invites applications for a First Aid role to support daily department operations, provide first aid services and handle inquiries. The job includes updating trackers, scheduling rosters, and planning staff training for career development. Inventory control will be performed to ensure stock is on hand.

The position may require work at Ocean Park and Water World depending on operations. The candidate should have form 5/6 education with HKCEE/HKDSE, valid First Aid and AED

Qualifications

• Form 5/6 graduate with HKCEE/HKDSE pass.
• Holder of valid First Aid and AED Provider Certificates.
• PHLSt Provider or related certificate is an advantage.
• At least 3 years' nursing or first aid experience, of which 1 year in supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily operations of the First Aid Department.
• Provide first aid services and handle requests and inquiries.
• Update trackers and reports; schedule duty rosters for frontline staff.
• Plan and deliver staff training and career development.

Reporting to the First Aid and Safety Area Manager, he/she will be responsible for facilitating the daily operations of the First Aid Department, by providing first aid services, handling internal/external customer requests and inquiries, updating regular trackers and reports, scheduling duty roster for frontline staff, plan and deliver training for staff’s career development. He/she will executive inventory/stock take activities in order to ensure efficient stock remains on hand at all times. Work location will be Ocean Park and Water World depend on operations need.

Requirements

• Form 5 / 6 graduate or above with pass in Chinese and English in HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent
• Holder of valid First Aid Certificate and AED Provider Certificate issued by Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Association or other recognized authority
• Holder of valid Prehospital Trauma Life Support Provider Course or related certificate has an advantage
• With at least 3 years’ working experience in nursing or first aid related field, of which 1 years should be in supervisory capacity
• Computer literacy in MS Office and Chinese word processing
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Be in good physical condition
• Able to work independently, reliable, responsible and self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure, outdoors and physically demanding environment
• Customer-oriented, teamwork and good communication skills.
• Willing to work on shifts including weekends and public holidays
