Job summary

ICBC (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an AI System Architect / System Analyst (Financial Technology) to lead application architecture design within the Bank and shape AI enablement across core banking platforms. You will apply cutting-edge FinTech and AI technologies, guide development and testing, enforce best practices, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, global financial services environment.

Strong Java EE/Spring expertise, web/API development, and database proficiency

Qualifications

• 5–7 years hands-on system design and development experience in banking or related industries.
• Experience delivering at least 3 medium to large core projects as System Architect/Analyst.
• Strong JAVA and frameworks (Java EE, Spring, Spring Boot).
• Solid experience with web/API development (REST, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Vue/ Bootstrap/ AngularJS).
• Proficiency in Oracle/MySQL databases and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of architecture design theory and system operation mechanisms.
• Putonghua (Mandarin) in addition to English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the application architectural design in the Bank
• Provide insights on AI technology trends and carry out implementation in the Bank
• Perform software development and testing, system design, system analysis and problem solving
• Implement new technologies and develop technical products in major projects
• Define and enforce best practices, develop and maintain framework/standards to improve deliverables.
• Train and guide junior staff
