Job summary

Award Jewellery (International) Co., Limited is seeking a driven jewelry designer to shape the aesthetic vision of fine and high jewelry collections. You will translate creative concepts into precise technical specifications, assist with custom client requests, and oversee pieces from initial sketch to final crafting.

A strong portfolio is required. You will produce scaled CAD drawings, Photoshop renderings, and gouache illustrations while collaborating with the Special Orders team to deliver

Qualifications

• BA or MA degree in Jewelry Design or equivalent discipline.
• Proven experience in fine/high jewelry design within luxury.
• High proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic working knowledge of Rhino CAD.
• Superior hand-drawing and rendering skills.
• Gouache illustration is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of fine jewelry construction, metals, gemstone settings, and diamond layouts.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Portfolio is required.

Job description

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic vision of fine and high jewelry collections. You will translate creative concepts into technical specifications, assist with custom client requests, and oversee pieces from initial sketch to final crafting. Portfolio is required

Key responsibilities

Translate creative briefs into original fine and high jewelry designs that align with the brand's heritage and elevated aesthetic standards

Produce scaled 3-view technical CAD drawings, high-level Photoshop renderings, and classic gouache illustrations as needed

Collaborate directly with the Special Orders team to create custom client sketches, renderings, and revisions for one-of-a-kind commissions

Support the creation of executive-level presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholder reviews

Assist with studio organization, maintaining both digital and analogue design archives

Demonstrate deep knowledge of precious materials and manufacturing constraints

About you

BA or MA degree in Jewelry Design or equivalent discipline

Proven experience in a fine or high jewelry design role within the luxury sector

High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Basic working knowledge of Rhino CAD software

Superior hand-drawing and rendering skills

Proficiency in gouache illustration is highly desirable

Deep understanding of fine jewelry construction, precious metals, gemstone settings, and diamond grading/layouts

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
