We are looking for a Technical Platform Engineer to serve as the vital bridge between our Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams. In this role, you will empower development teams by modernizing release pipelines, building internal engineering tools, and automating our Azure cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings a developer-first mindset to DevOps—someone comfortable writing automation scripts, maintaining web services and databases, and collaborating with developers through peer code reviews to ensure secure and seamless deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bridge Dev & Ops: Partner closely with software engineering teams to streamline code delivery, improve CI/CD pipeline reliability, and standardize deployment workflows.
- Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Provision, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Internal Developer Tooling: Develop and support lightweight internal tools, developer portals, or management dashboards using Python (or Java) and React/Next.js.
- Database & Service Operations: Support application data layers (SQL) and assist with backend service configurations to ensure continuous availability.
- Code Reviews & Standards: Conduct code reviews alongside engineering teams for infrastructure scripts, deployment manifests, and automation pipelines to align with best practices.
Requirement:
- Cloud & DevOps: Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud ecosystem and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
- Scripting & Backend: Proficient in Python for automation, backend APIs, or platform scripting.
- Data Management: Working knowledge of SQL for database management, query optimization, or schema migrations.
- Collaborative Mindset: Background in peer code reviews and technical enablement across software and operations teams.
- Familiarity with Java backend services or enterprise application workflows.
- Basic hands-on exposure to React or Next.js for maintaining internal UI components or operational dashboards.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes container orchestration.
