Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a financial reporting professional to oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for non-bank subsidiaries, prepare statutory statements, and coordinate audits and regulatory disclosures.

You will analyze variances, ensure reporting integrity, and support management with insightful financial commentary. Requires HKICPA, 2–5 years’ experience, and strong Excel/communication skills in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related discipline with HKICPA.
• 2–5 years’ practical experience in financial reporting or management reporting in a reputable financial institution or sizable organisation.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Chinese and English; proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for non-bank subsidiaries and ensure timely submission of financial information to Head Office, management, and regulators.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, audited accounts, management reports, disclosures, and regulatory returns in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process for non-bank subsidiaries.
• Perform financial analysis and provide commentary on key business and financial performance variances for management review.
• Execute financial control activities and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting.
