Luck Catch Investments Limited is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our finance team in Wan Chai District. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in driving financial strategy and decision-making across the organisation. As Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial models, conducting variance analysis, and providing strategic insights that directly inform business planning and investment decisions. This role is essential to ensuring our leadership team has the financial intelligence needed to optimise performance and achieve corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and projections using advanced analytical techniques and financial modelling
• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and projected financial performance, providing clear explanations and recommendations
• Prepare regular financial reports and management accounts for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and business trends
• Support investment evaluation and due diligence activities by analysing financial data and preparing investment memoranda
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy of forecasts and reports
• Monitor key financial metrics and develop dashboards to track business performance against strategic objectives
• Identify areas for financial improvement and recommend cost optimisation strategies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies and procedures
• Assist in strategic planning initiatives and scenario analysis to support long-term business decision-making

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
• 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar finance function within a corporate or investment environment
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting methodologies
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software or enterprise resource planning systems
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and present findings to non-financial stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and project management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with investment analysis or management accounting in the investment or financial services sector is preferred
