Emperor Group seeks an accomplished finance leader to oversee the group’s finance and accounting functions, driving consolidation across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and international entities. The role ensures HKFRS/IFRS compliance, statutory reporting, and liaison with auditors and regulators.
You will steer year-end audits, governance, and internal controls while supporting strategic investments and M&A. The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in senior
Lead and oversee finance and accounting functions.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage consolidation across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas entities.
Ensure compliance with HKFRS, IFRS, Companies Ordinance, and HKEX Listing Rules.
Oversee year-end audit and regulatory reporting requirements.
Monitor project budgets, development costs, project profitability, and cash flow.
Partner with project development teams in evaluating new development projects.
Support land acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and investment opportunities.
Conduct project feasibility studies, financial modelling, and investment analysis.
Manage treasury operations, banking facilities, and financing arrangements.
Monitor cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.
Support project financing, refinancing, and covenant compliance.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Participate in corporate planning, budgeting, and forecasting exercises.
Support M&A transactions, strategic investments, and restructuring initiatives.
Present management reports to executive management and Board members.
Strengthen internal controls and risk management framework.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, company secretaries, valuers, and regulators.
Support listing rules compliance and statutory reporting matters.
Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.
Review finance policies, procedures, and system enhancements.
Drive finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, ACA or equivalent).
Minimum 12-15 years of accounting and finance experience. At least 5 years in a senior management position.
Experience gained from HK listed companies in property developer
Strong knowledge of HKFRS, IFRS, Listing Rules, and taxation.
Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
Strategic thinker with leadership capability.
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
