Fortune Ark Restructuring is seeking to employ two dynamic Financial Analysts.
The Financial Analyst will be assisting with a variety of transactions, including debtor‑side restructurings, M&A (Non distressed and distressed), capital advisory solutions and forensic accounting.
Responsibilities
- Financial Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyse complex financial datasets, including budgets, forecasts, and accounting statements, to identify trends and variances.
- Variance Analysis: Examine deviations between actual and forecasted financial results. Identify root causes and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders for corrective action.
- Business Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate ongoing business health. Highlight areas of concern or opportunity to leadership.
- Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and update sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and other business initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner to both finance and non‑finance audiences, including senior management, department heads, and external partners.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve financial analysis efficiency and accuracy.
- Audit experience and exposure.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and proficient in PowerPoint and report writing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem‑Solving: Ability to deliver and complete complex financial challenges creatively and provide actionable recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating financial jargon into clear, actionable insights.
- Languages: English, Cantonese and maybe some Mandarin
- Time Management: Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Teamwork: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Needs to be Hong Kong Resident or be able to self sponsor.
- Schedule: Standard office hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- Location: This position is based in the office, providing opportunities for face‑to‑face mentorship, collaboration, and networking.
