The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking an experienced finance professional to support management reporting, monthly close, annual budget and quarterly forecasts, driving end-to-end processes for better decision making. As an individual contributor, you will perform in-depth variance analysis, build financial models, and provide analytical support to help optimise performance across the Club's operations.

Degree in Accounting/Finance required; at least 5 years in accounting and 3 in FP&A or

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Preferably with recognised accounting qualification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meeting materials for Board of Management and other Committees.
• Ensure the smooth operations of the monthly management reports, the quarterly forecast, and the annual budget for the Club.
• Monitor financial performances and perform in-depth variance analysis, with reference to activity based drivers in order to make recommendations to management.
• Perform analytical review on management reports to explain the business performance.
• Provide value-added analysis and financial modelling to support the growth of the overall business including the evaluation of current and new business activities, including cash flow projection.
• Refine accounting procedures continuously and improving the quality of management reporting and reporting schedules; Assist the team in driving effective and efficient financial processing and management reporting.
• Provide support in the data interface from operation system to management report systems for the purpose of performance measurement.
• Produce high-quality analysis on an ad-hoc basis and assist in other ad hoc assignments when required.
• Liaise and coordinate with Finance stakeholders on various Club initiatives and ad-hoc assignments.

Job Summary

The job holder will be an individual contributor to support the Club's management reporting, not only monthly closing, but also annual budget and quarterly forecast to better align business objectives to enable decision making. This includes the process re-engineering across the finance teams within the Club to establish and maintain best practices in end-to-end finance processes and systems to lead to a culture of continuous improvement. The job holder will be a proactive, self-motivated and meticulous individual to provide analytical support to the Club.

Education

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines

Qualifications

Preferably with recognised accounting qualification

Experience

• At least 5 years' work experience in the Accounting field, and minimum 3 years in Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Management Accounting
• Hands on experience on data mining, Financial modelling and data visualization experience is an asset
• Experience working in organisations with diverse operations or dealing with multiple stakeholders; strong communication, organization ability to build rapport with internal customers
