ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong seeks a versatile Finance Manager to lead the finance function in a dynamic commodities trading environment. Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution, you will manage day-to-day accounting, balance sheet governance, and the full statutory audit cycle.

You will drive international cash collections, maintain strong relationships with buyers, lead a small team, and partner with traders, operations and senior leadership to enforce robust governance

Qualifications

• Professional qualification: CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Industry experience in Trading, Commodities, or Manufacturing.
• Audit experience directing external auditors through a full statutory cycle.
• Operational agility: hands-on journals and reconciliations plus strategic input.
• Leadership experience managing a small finance team.
• Strong communication with traders, operations, and senior leadership.
• Nice-to-have FX or hedging exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with balance sheet focus.
• Perform hands-on accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and inventory valuation.
• Oversee international cash collections and credit control.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory financial statements.
• Develop governance and internal control frameworks.
