Links International is seeking a Finance Manager (One man band, MNC family office) in Hong Kong. The role handles day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and takes the lead on implementing a new accounting system integrated with the family office's reporting database.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in finance/fund accounting within family offices or funds, with a degree in finance or accounting and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years' experience in finance/fund accounting within family office or funds environment.
• Degree in finance, accounting or related discipline.
• Proven track record of building/improving finance systems and processes, incl. system implementations.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial statement prep and corporate governance requirements across jurisdictions.
• Experience liaising with auditors, company secretaries and tax accountants.
• Self-starter with motivation, initiative and ownership.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

• Maintain company registers including shareholders, directors, and board/advisory roles.

• Liaise with outsourced providers for investment valuations and NAV reports.

Finance Manager (One man band,mnc family office)

• Process payments directly via banking portals or by preparing wire instructions for the principals' bank accounts.
• Lead the implementation of a new accounting system, integrating it with the family office's portfolio reporting system and underlying database.
• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for operating and investment holding companies.
• Prepare financial accounts and statements for operating and investment holding companies.
• Manage the distribution process for operating and investment holding companies.
• Liaise with auditors where necessary and support the annual audit process.
• Draft board resolutions, meeting minutes and other corporate governance documentation for the family's global entities, including annual general meetings.
• Maintain company registers covering shareholders, directors, and board / advisory positions.
• Manage financial forecasts and budgets for the family office.
• Monitor funding requirements across entities and coordinate timely capital movements.
• Liaise with outsourced service providers to collate investment valuations and prepare and review portfolio / NAV reports.

Requirement

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in a similar finance or fund accounting within a family office, funds management or similar environment. Candidates with additional company secretarial experience are preferred
• A degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
• A demonstrated track record of building and improving finance systems and processes, ideally including accounting system implementations.
• Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and corporate governance / company secretarial requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience liaising with auditors, company secretaries and tax accountants.
• A self-starter mentality with strong motivation, initiative and ownership.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential financial and family matters appropriately.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
