Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a skilled FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for a multinational organisation in Hong Kong. The role emphasises management reporting, financial analysis, and strategic commercial insights.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years’ experience, with HKICPA/ACCA/CPA qualification preferred. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and performance commentary.
• Analyse actual results against budget and forecast, highlighting key variances, trends, and business drivers.
• Support financial reporting activities, including period-end reporting, consolidation, and management review.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business planning and investment decisions.
• Partner closely with operational and functional teams to provide commercial insights and recommendations.
• Prepare financial presentations and decision-support materials for senior management.
• Monitor business performance and key financial and operational KPIs.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, financial systems, and analytical tools.
• Support ad hoc commercial analysis and strategic projects.
