Job summary

Cemcoa in Hong Kong is seeking a highly experienced finance professional to oversee daily accounting operations, month-end and year-end closings, and consolidate reporting for regional entities.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and variance analysis, provide detailed business commentary to senior management, ensure internal controls, and drive system enhancement projects including Oracle ERP. Requires CPA/ACCA/CIMA and 8+ years' experience, with Big Four audit exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance with CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably Big Four.
• Industry exposure in commodities trading is an advantage.
• Knowledge of consolidation, latest accounting standards, and HK/tax reporting for overseas offices.
• Oracle EBS R12 with AR/AP/GL; experience with cloud ERP systems.
• Experience in system enhancement projects; Oracle reporting experience.
• MS Office including PowerPivot, PowerApps and Co-pilot.
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely management reports and FP&A with detailed analysis for senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis; comment on performance and margins.
• Support monthly performance reviews; highlight risks, opportunities and drivers.
• Review internal controls and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Assist with statutory audits, tax filings and transfer pricing matters.
• Drive finance process improvements and ERP system projects; communicate progress to management.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, general ledger review and compliance with Group accounting policies.
• Closely monitor ARAP & prepayments for all trading entities and follow up with traders for the collection status.
• Prepare timely, accurate and reliable financial information, management reports and FP&A with detailed analysis for the Financial Controller and senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for trading entities, and provide commentary on business performance, margins, overheads and working capital.
• Support monthly performance review by analyzing actual results against budget and forecast, highlighting key risks, opportunities and financial drivers.
• Review internal controls, identify accounting and financial issues, assess potential impact, and provide recommendations to senior
• Assist the Financial Controller with statutory audit, tax filing and transfer pricing matters involving external parties.
• Lead and drive finance operations process improvement and system implementation projects. Communicate project progress and results to management and supervisors effectively and on time.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline with CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 8 years of related experience

Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.

Industry exposure in commodities trading is an advantage

Sound knowledge of consolidation, the latest accounting standards, and taxation reporting requirements in Hong Kong and overseas offices such as Singapore and Dubai.

Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 accounts modules, including AR, AP and GL, and cloud-based ERP systems.

Experience in system enhancement projects.

Oracle functional experience in report design and report generation.

Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPivot, PowerApps and Co-pilot.

Knowledge and experience in supporting ERP systems, such as Oracle, Excel4Wands and cloud-based systems.

Proactive, organized and detail-oriented, with strong reporting and presentation skills.

Good command of spoken and written English

Mature, independent and analytical, with the ability to work under pressure.
