Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Finance Officer to provide essential accounting support for Hong Kong and Mainland China operations. The role covers accounts payable and receivable, expense processing, journal entries, and general financial documentation in line with TNC policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with accounting issues and financial analysis.
• Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Finance operations experience in Hong Kong is essential, with Mainland China exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine finance/accounting activities under supervision and guidelines.
• Support Hong Kong finance operations: AP, AR, payments, entries, record maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain documents for payments, vendor records, audits, and routine transactions.
• Maintain accurate data in TNC systems and ensure timely entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with statutory audits, donor audits, and internal control reviews.
• Support project finance tracking and budgeting materials for HK team.
• Communicate with staff, vendors, banks, and auditors to resolve finance questions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and local legal requirements.
• Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training between HK and China finance teams.
