Job summary

Guotai Junan International in Hong Kong seeks a junior analyst to support debt quota applications and deal execution.

You will draft and review documents, ensure regulatory compliance (KYC/AML), and coordinate with issuers and professionals.

Ideal candidates are fresh graduates with Mongolian language skills and proficiency in Mandarin and English, ready to grow into a coverage banker role in two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mongolian Language is required.
• Fluency in Mongolian (spoken & written) is mandatory.
• Background in Finance/Economics/International Trade helps.
• Willingness to handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Draft or review due diligence reports, undertaking letters, and other documents for issuer’s foreign debt quota applications to NDRC (if necessary).
• Work on internal approvals such as KYC, AML and document review for regulatory requirements.
• Manage transaction process, including materials preparation, third party engagement, calls/meetings arrangement, and other relevant work to facilitate communication between issuers and professional parties and to ensure offering documents are prepared and transaction are executed at market standard.
• Assist pitch books, RFP, and marketing materials to support deal origination; finalize deal structure and legal documentation (if any).

Job Requirements

• Academic or working background in Finance / Economics / International Trade
• Graduated within 3 years (fresh graduates included)
• Capable of handling multiple tasks; willing to take challenging work in a demanding working environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Attention to details; Good command of Mandarin and English
• Strong Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel skills.
• Interest in origination, and willing to transfer to coverage banker in 2 years.
